Venue Spotlight: The Ebell of Los Angeles

“Every gathering here carries forward 130 years of a mission to inspire, educate, and connect.”

A Historic Stage for What’s Next

Built in 1927 and designed by Sumner P. Hunt in Italian Renaissance style, The Ebell has long been a cultural landmark in Los Angeles. It’s not only an architectural gem but also a testament to women’s leadership and creativity. Originally established in 1894 as a women’s club, the organization upheld a mission of elevating arts and education long before it inhabited this iconic campus. The building was later honored as a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument in 1982 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1994

Where History Meets Momentum

Over the decades, the Wilshire Ebell Theatre has hosted a who’s-who of historic moments and performances. Judy Garland was discovered on this stage, and Amelia Earhart delivered her final public appearance here before her tragic disappearance in 1937. From its lavish salons to its soaring auditorium, the campus radiates legacy and possibility, making it a fitting backdrop for professionals shaping their next chapter.
